Growing up in Melbourne as one of ten children, Patty knows no strangers and if you have lived in the area for any length of time, if you don’t know her, you probably know one of her siblings. She returned to Heron in 2011 after a five year hiatus and her familiarity with Heron’s culture made the transition seamless. As the Executive Assistant to Heron’s President, Jerry Fasanella, her excellent planning and organizational skills are called upon daily to keep his busy schedule on track. Patty’s most significant career accomplishment was that of being a wife and a mother. She loved being to be able to stay at home with her children and home-schooled them as well. In addition to tending to her family she also helped her husband with his residential building business as well as operating her own in home daycare, and then returned to the work force in 2000.
Born in Ohio, her family moved to Florida in 1955 and she has lived here happily since then. Patty was married for 37 years to David who passed away in 2010. She has four beautiful children who are all grown, married and have blessed her with seven fantastic grandchildren.
Her hobbies are reading, traveling, baking, and spending time with her family. A little known fact about Patty is that she’s addicted to playing Solitaire and Bejeweled.
