Active Investment Management

Utilizing the experience gained over nearly 40 years in the financial services industry (including several years as a professional trader*) Gerald Fasanella, President of Heron Financial Partners, created a program designed to give clients an opportunity to actively participate in equities investing. Active Investment Management (AIM) is a tactical, professionally managed, non-discretionary brokerage program available to clients of Heron Financial Partners. AIM gives our clients the opportunity to invest in equities as one method of diversification in their portfolio. Dividend income, one consideration in the process, is just one of the criteria used in the selection of the “baskets of stocks” presented to clients who choose to participate.

A Primer on Dividends

A company's profits can be reinvested or paid out to the company’s shareholders as “dividends."

Investment in securities does not offer a fixed rate of return. Principal, yield and/or share price will fluctuate with changes in the market condition and when sold or redeemed, you may receive more or less than you originally invested. No system or financial planning strategy can guarantee future results. Therefore, no current or prospective client should assume that future performance or any specific investment, investment strategy or product will be profitable.
